The Welsh blogosphere isn't all politics and persiflage. There's a good degree of perversion too.

In a post titled 'Female Politicians mmmmmm!!! =)', sleazy Aberavon blogger Panda Shaving Torture comes clean about his infatuation for the local Liberal Democrat candidate. Aidan, who describes himself as a 'self confessed sheep bigamist and full time uni student', then proceeds to run through his other smutty political turn-ons in the comments section. Bizarrely, this photograph (see below) is among them. What on earth is going on there?

I always kinda cringe when i saw people leer after female politicians, i know the MP i work has had 'admiring' glances from the London Press, but i think it kind of takes away from a discussion of their political competency...

The picture is one taken during a Cymdeithas yr Iaith demonstration at the Assembly. Helen Mary Jones and Leanne Wood wanted to invite the Cymdeithas members into the Assembly Building, but the police didn't agree, and blocked their access.

There was a report about this my local paper. A policeman was conned into signing the nomination papers for a BNP candidate. Leanne has just asked the policeman responsible to put his hand up, and Helen Mary is giving the guilty party a good old fashioned telling off for his stupidity.

Why is it only women politicians that get this treatment? You don't see any sleaziness when it comes to women commenting on male politicians. There arn't any decent looking male politicians out there....

Whatever.The WLD candidate in Aberavon has contested the seat before at UK and Welsh General Elections, is a county councillor, and a member of both the police and fire authorities.Hardly totty.

Why is it that this kind of fatuity is aimed only at women?

I don't know. But whenever my picture is put on the internet it is accompanied by the word c*nt. So being called totty would be a welcome change:)
